Information You Provide

• Email Address — When you subscribe to The Retire Stack newsletter, we collect your email address. This is the only piece of personally identifiable information we request.
• Calculator Inputs — When you use our Retirement Readiness Calculator, you enter financial information such as your age, income, savings, and expenses. This data is processed in your browser to generate your retirement readiness score. Calculator inputs are not stored on our servers in association with your identity. If you choose to share your results, a one-time anonymized snapshot of inputs and results may be saved to generate a shareable link.

Information Collected Automatically

• Visitor Identifier — We generate an anonymous visitor ID stored in your browser's localStorage. This identifier does not contain any personally identifiable information and is used solely to understand aggregate traffic patterns (e.g., page views, return visits). It is not linked to your email address or any other personal information.
• Basic Analytics Data — We collect minimal analytics data including pages visited, referring URLs, and approximate geographic region. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Newsletter Delivery — To send you The Retire Stack weekly newsletter and occasional service-related communications.
• Calculator Functionality — To process your inputs and generate your retirement readiness score in your browser.

• Email Addresses — We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. If you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our active mailing list. We may retain a hashed record for suppression purposes (to ensure we do not re-add you).
• Calculator Data — Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not persistently stored on our servers. Shared result snapshots are retained for up to 12 months and then automatically deleted.
• Analytics Data — Aggregate analytics data is retained indefinitely. The anonymous visitor ID stored in your browser can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate RetireStack:

• Resend — We use Resend as our email delivery provider to send newsletter emails. Resend processes your email address solely for the purpose of delivering our emails. Their privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Hosting Provider — Our website is hosted on cloud infrastructure that may log standard access information (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of normal server operations.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party advertising or tracking services.

5. Cookies and Tracking

RetireStack uses a minimal tracking approach. We do not use cookies. Instead, we store a single anonymous visitor ID in your browser's localStorage. This identifier:

• Contains no personally identifiable information.
• Is not shared with any third party.
• Is used only for aggregate traffic analysis.
• Can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or site data.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your information:

• Unsubscribe — You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email we send.

• Clear Local Data — You can remove the anonymous visitor ID at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for retirestack.ai.

RetireStack is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers are located. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
